Heartscape (A Poem)
My Contribution to The Weaving Wisdom Garden: Protecting the Heart Sanctuary
You’re getting a very special post today that I’ve been eager to share for the past couple of weeks! I recently connected with of Weaving Wisdom and had the opportunity to join the Weaving Wisdom Garden July collaboration “Protecting the Heart Sanctuary” with my poem, Heartscape. Along with several artists and writers sharing their beauty, I wrote this piece as a reflection of the deep communion I seek with others and how I view the sacred space of my heart and it’s love.
The Weaving Wisdom Garden is a collaborative publication with the intention of pollinating poetic expression through a harmonic ecology of creative Voices sharing the woven wisdom of Nature, Transformation, Divine Guidance and Embodied Knowing!
Please hop over to absorb all the wisdom from everyone’s pollinations at The Weaving Wisdom Garden: Protecting the Heart Sanctuary.
Heartscape
Where is my wellspring if not in my center Dancing among the dandelions, floating with the fireflies I am the fairy who swings between the branches Fluttering my heart song along the invisible edges of the breeze I see me now, reflecting back through the ripples like rings on the Redwoods Aged and ageless, wise and strong, beautied and endless Gentle, unbound Untethered, I trace my own path as it dissolves in my wake Creating, spreading, seeding, harvesting, relishing I say to her, in the mirrored rippling, you are Love And it belies the ferocity in which I fly, my boundaried serenity With its honest face and my sanctuaried haven My heart is not yours to take Only an offering of communion in this sacred space Rest your palms upon mine and we will float among the lilies We’ll glide along the abundance of my wellspring Entangled explorers curiously wandering through our ignited wonder And then I’ll put my palms in yours, invited into your sacral place Communing amidst your heartscape, the ever evolving land where your soul dwells
